09.23.14 QOHP Takes Silver in W3 Awards
Exciting news for the project and its designer, John Hanawalt! John’s work on QOHP.org has been recognized with a Silver W3 Award in the “Activism” category.
As described by the people behind the Awards:
The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning Websites, Web Video and Online Marketing programs. Simply put, the W³ is the first major Web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Small firms are as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies and international agencies.
We’ve written before about how we hope good design supports the project’s mission of sharing queer stories. We’re truly grateful for this recognition and proud of all the other honorees—especially in the activism and nonprofit categories!
The W3 Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms. For more information about the W³ Awards, visit www.w3award.com.
